APW Celebrates – 2018 Awards Luncheon

Arkansas Press Women will host its annual awards luncheon on Saturday, June 30 at The Saline Courier in Benton.

The newspaper, one of the oldest businesses in Saline County, is located in downtown Benton at 321 N. Market St.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and lunch will begin at noon. Cost is $20. We will have a short business meeting and an announcement about our plans for 2020.

Our guest speaker this year is Sandy Longhorn, an assistant professor of creative writing at the University of Central Arkansas. Longhorn directs the new C.D. Wright Women Writers Conference on the campus in Conway.
